Digital Services Act (DSA) obligations specific to Very Large Online Platforms (VLOPs) and Very Large Online Search Engines (VLOSEs) entered into force on 25 August 2023. Platform, legal, and trust & safety teams supporting EU users should map DSA Article 34–42 duties to product controls, ensuring recommender systems, ads, and notice-and-action workflows meet the new requirements.
