G7 Apulia Leaders Deepen Commitments on Advanced AI — June 14, 2024
G7 leaders endorsed the Apulia Communiqué, reaffirming the Hiroshima AI process, advancing work on codes of conduct for developers, and pledging to resource international AI safety cooperation.
The communiqué highlights progress on voluntary codes for organisations developing advanced AI, support for the International Code of Conduct, and coordination with the Global Partnership on AI, OECD, and emerging AI Safety Institutes.
