Commerce Department Establishes National AI Advisory Committee — September 15, 2021

The U.S. Department of Commerce formally established the National Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee to advise the President on competitiveness, workforce, and trustworthy AI.

Secretary Gina Raimondo announced the launch of NAIAC, which will counsel the administration on national competitiveness, science and technology needs, economic security, and methods for ensuring that AI systems reflect democratic values.
